About 3.5 weeks ago I started noticing some pain and stiffness in the bottom of my left foot, toes and in my back. Since then it has progressed into my wrist, jaw, neck, shoulder, hips, fingers in the opposite hand of my wrist and my knee with pretty bad swelling there.
The pain migrates in intensity and seems to be progressing into a new joint about every few days to every week. It is worse in the morning when I wake up, sometimes so bad that I nearly cant get myself out of bed or get myself dressed. Then yesterday I woke up with a sore throat and swollen lymphnodes in my neck.
I'm a 22 year old female, so the sudden onset and severity of this has me pretty worried. I went to a doctor for some blood tests last week and am schedualed to go back for results next week. Unfortunately from what I've read it seems a lot of people with my symptoms have a hard time finding a diagnosis through tests.
I was wondering if any of you have anything I could try to ease the pain for now, or any ideas what might be wrong? I've been taking ibuprofen a couple times a day...I dont really like taking pills though...and especially not something like vicoden if I can avoid it. I'm also going to start drinking tea regularly with ginger, rosemary, ceyenne, sage and horsetail. Any advice wopuld be greatly appreciated.
Love & Light,
Dani

Re: Sudden migrating joint pain, sore throat...
Fri, May 8, 2009 - 8:51 AMHave you tried going to an acupuncturist? They may be able to ease your symptoms and give you herbs for pain and discomfort. Hope you find some clarity out of this.
